A few months ago I began investigating how to grow organically. Â Could I? Â Should I? Â Would I? Â A zillion questions….. Being a foodie, I obviously had to try my hand at something I could use in my recipes… herbs… veggies…. citrus… ?
After doing a ton of research, I decided to try something adventurous… Meyer Lemons and Limes…. the nerve of me…. I have such a hard time keeping plants alive in my home.  Meyer lemons are a cross between a lemon and an orange, making the meyer lemon a bit sweeter than a regular lemon (more on that later).
Anywho….. I cannot tell you how excited I am to see lemons beginning to grow on one of my Meyer Lemon trees. In Maryland?  Indoors?  IN MY KITCHEN!?  I know!  Who knew, right…?
Needless to say, IÂ will be making some very exciting dishes with these lemons – believe it!
